Christmas in July!

My friends from Church, Robynne and Bryan, decided to have us over to their family camp on a game reserve and decided that we'd have a Christmas in July theme. What a blast?!!!! We stayed at their beautiful (HUGE) camp and did so many fun things. We had big bonfires at night, cooked lovely meals (including true Christmas dinner), toured Robynne's family dairy farm, and the awesome private game farm. We were able to walk into a field with 15 giraffes and got some VERY close up shots. We also saw Wildebeast, Warthogs, Ostriches, Springbok, etc.

The terrain was rough and we all rode in the back of their pick-up truck. It was a true "African" experience! Our dinner had all the fixings including eggnog, secret santa gifts, stockings, and yummy food! On Sunday morning, we packed up coolers and had breakfast in the bush at a small camp site. It was an awesome weekend with awesome people!!!
