Mona and her Dad!

The sweet little girl (MonaLisa) who has stolen the hearts of the Respite Unit left on Tuesday with her Dad Amos for their long trek to Zimbabwe. (For the full story, see previous blog). They were flying up to meet their family, receive Elizabeth’s body and lay their dear wife/mother to rest in her homeland. The bus trip was going to take many days and Amos had really never taken care of MonaLisa because she had always stayed with her Mom. Before they departed, I asked Philisiwe (one of the care workers) to show him how to change Mona’s diaper. Hamba Kahle Amos and Mona…(“go well”).
